With their endless talent and diverse influences the Roosters' cover a
vast musical area. They can cover an old standard gem from
Merle
Haggard
and go right to 3 Doors Down without missing a beat. The
band has a theory about picking songs......if it makes the crowd want to
dance or sing along, it's worth doing. They also carry in their extensive
arsenal of songs some crowd favorites that they have made their own.
Darrin notes, "Basically we take a song and throw it out at rehearsal
and let it develop. Everyone throws their ideas in and we toss it
around. Finish it off with a little
'rooster juice' and it's ready to rock!!"
